The Freche Früchte Podcast will feature mixes from both our Resident DJs and Special Guest DJs who appear at our events. It is also planned to invite other guest DJs to share their mixes on our Podcast as well.
Episode Five Jon Teale
The latest Freche Früchte podcast is by up and coming DJ, Jon Teale.
Jon Teale is a twenty one year old DJ currently based in Leeds. He has been DJing for five years and his style incorporates deep, minimal and tech house.
DJ's that influence Jon include Steve Lawler, Audiofly and Nic Fanciulli. Jon has played at various nights around the region including York's Widescreen, that was voted a top essential north night by IDJ Magazine, Random and Region2.
As part of our aim of supporting the region's young, talented DJs, the Freche Früchte team are delighted to announce that Jon will playing at our event in November.
Jon is definitely one to watch out for in the future!!

Episode Four Matt-Jay
Freche Früchte presents our latest podcast episode by Matt-Jay.
Matt-Jay is the current President of Hull University's DJ Society - aka Crystal Clear. Matt is a Minimal Techno & Underground House DJ who has been going from strength to strength on the scene in Hull for the past 12 months! Playing some of the best Underground House, Techno, Minimal and Electronica out there!
We are delighted to announce that Matt-Jay will be DJing at our upcoming event on Saturday 17th October 2009 @ The Square, 48 Spring Bank, Hull, HU3 1AB.

Crystal Clear is the alter ego of Hull University's DJ society. Formed in 2005 with the aim to provide student nights based around playing decent music played by real DJ's in real clubs!

Episode Three SysteMattik
The next installment of our Podcast comes from Freche Früchte Resident DJ, SysteMattiK.
SysteMattiK is Matti Kiviniemi, Finland's Secret Weapon to the UK Underground. Like the other members of the Freche Früchte Resident DJ team, Alex Alterskye and Nick Minardi, Matti adds his own unique flavour to the Freche Früchte mix.
Matti combines an old and new school approach to his DJing. He began his DJing career mixing with vinyl, however, with a keen interest in technology, he now uses the latest laptop technology but he keeps the laptop in the background and concentrates on using his controller to mix and rock the crowd!
His styles include Techno, Minimal, Tribal & Tech-Funk. Matti is inspired by such artists as Richie Hawtin, Magda, Kid Loco, Anja Schneider, Miss Kittin, Gui Borratto, Umek, Kraftwerk, Oliver Huntemann, Rainer Weichold, Phonogenic, Jori Hulkkkonen, Dj Hell, Sven Vath & many many more.
Matti also runs his own podcast and as well as creating his own mixes, he also invites guest DJs to contribute their mixes. You can check out his podcast at:

Episode Two Surrealists - June 2009 Mix
Freche Früchte are delighted to present the latest mix by Surrealists.
SURREALISTS
The Surrealists, Storry 25 & Ashley J 23, have been a duo now for around 10 months and their sound is becoming more and more appreciated on the scene.
On the production side, after only 9 months producing the duo are really starting to show their talent and where their main influences have / are coming from.
The duo have recently been signed to BulletDodge Records and their single 'Show Me On The Ghetto Blaster', which features a remix by Gareth Whitehead, will be released on Beatport.com on 20th July 2009.
They are merging all of their tastes to mould a new tribal, minimal, experimental sound which has had numerous thumbs up, from many DJ's inc... Prudo, AKA AKA, Alfra Romero and Michael Costa to name a few.
The guys continue to make their DJ sets and tracks as unique as possible and have recently spread their attention to Manchester and recently DJ'd at Sankeys 15th Anniversary as well as Djing at events around the country.
Surrealists will be appearing at the Freche Früchte Launch Party on 15th August 2009 at the Square, Hull and we are delighted to have them onboard.
