About Freche Früchte

Freche Früchte is a new underground house night created to further promote underground house music in Kingston upon Hull and the surrounding areas.

Based at The Square on Spring Bank in Hull, which by day is a contemporary licensed café bar that transforms into a popular destination for music events at night, it is the venue for our monthly events.

The Freche Früchte journey began on 15th August 2009, with a mission to showcase the best of the local underground scene.

The inspiration for setting up Freche Früchte comes from many different sources, here's a few.

Local DJs, producers and promoters like Koala, Different Language, Sona Sound, Random, Underground, Surrealists, No_One.

Local venues like The Square, The Adelphi, The Welly, and The Lamp.

Established in 2008, The Square, by day: a contemporary licensed cafe bar providing comfort and sanctuary away from your hectic lifestyles.

By night: Transforms into a popular destination for music events which is getting bigger and better by the day.

Already hosting an array of amazing nights to suit all music tastes including:

House(Deep,funky,sexy,techno,jackin etc) Techno, Soul & Funk, Mods & Rocker nights.

The Square is fastly becoming a recognised host for all types of music events and are always open for suggestions as they want to provide you with what you want to hear especially if it's not being offered to you anywhere else.
